JOHN'S LOVE LIFE (John and his female friends)

Is John Legend single? This is probably the most frequently asked question among JL female fans ;-) Not so long ago, Legend claimed he was not in a serious relationship, and assured that his daily life was not as exciting as the one presented in the "Save Room" video clip (where we can see him with 4 different ladies). JL also confessed that his longest relationship was seven months and it was partly because of the business and partly because of his personality - "I'm picky and I like to move around. The fact I'm a touring musician is perfect for me because I get bored easily". But now it seems John wants to settle down and everything because of Christine Teigen - a beautiful model John has been in a relationship with for 2 years now. He also says he is going to want to get married and have children one day.

Christine Teigen
• Sources exclusively snitch to Bossip that John Legend is dating Thai-Norwegian model Christine Teigen. John has personally selected her for his "Stereo" video.
• Here's a comment from Elle, Chrissy's high school friend: "I have known Chrissy in school and I always felt she was one of the nicest people I knew, not to mention the funniest. I am so happy to see her doing so well. She was always grateful and polite. This coming from a girl that wasn't with the 'in crowd,' she was very sweet."
• In late 2007, trying to defend his girl, John told the New York Daily News: "People are automatically condescending," "They expect her to be dumb and say, 'Oh you're just dating a dumb girl because she's hot.' But people judge you either way. If you're dating a girl who’s kind of regular, you hear, 'Why are you dating her?' I don't get caught up in it. I'm more concerned with my happiness."

• Legend's camp say this relationship is real and getting serious. "John tries to fly her out when he is away, at least once a week to be with him" says the snitch. (update: they are not together anymore).
• An article published in late September 2006: John Legend insists it is possible to be a "gentleman" and still be tempted away from your girlfriend while on the road. The hitmaker admits he can be a "toxic bachelor" and although he is in a new relationship, he can't guarantee he will be 100% faithful. And he blames the transient nature of the music industry for his inability to control his roving eye. He says, "I've just started dating someone, so I don't want to jinx it by talking about it. We'll see how it goes. But the music business is the worst one to sustain relationships in, because you're in a different city every day and you have lots of women throwing themselves at you. So you have to be disciplined and be with someone who you don't want to cheat on. "But there's always another woman around the corner, so it's hard to settle down because you feel you might be missing out on something. You can be a gentleman and yet still feel that way."

Wafah Dufour
• Legend was previously linked to Osama Bin Laden's niece, Wafah Dufour. She was born in California, but spent the early part of her life in Saudi Arabia. At the age of 10, her mother left her father, and Dufour moved to Switzerland with her Swiss mother. She went to Columbia Law School in the United States, and lived in Manhattan until September 2001.
• She is an American model and singer-songwriter.
• They have been seen together only a couple of times and I personally think there was no relationship between them at all. I may be wrong, though ;-)

Jessica White
• There was also Jessica White, another super-model. She is best known for her work in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition, Harper's Bazaar and Teen Vogue Magazines. Additionally, she worked for Cover Girl and modeled for Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren's Polo. Jessica appeared in John's "So High" music video as well. They've been seen together a couple of times, the last time on the MTV VMA.
