He's a producer, writer, keyboardist, sonic stunt-man... Josh on The Black & White album: "A couple years ago, I got off the John Legend tour and came home to Brooklyn, because I realized that Imani [Coppola] & I had a very important record to make. We quickly ran out of space where we were living in Park Slope, so we moved to Bed-Stuy, where I set up a tiny studio in the second bedroom of our new apartment. Several months, a million hours, and many collective years off both of our lives later, The Black & White Album was released digitally on her website in January '07."
