The nominations for the 50th annual Grammy Awards were announced Thursday morning from Los Angeles. The nominees for album of the year are "Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace" by the Foo Fighters, "These Days" by Vince Gill, "River: The Joni Letters" by Herbie Hancock, "Graduation" by Kanye West and "Back to Black" by Amy Winehouse. The nominees for song of the year - a songwriter's honor - are "Before He Cheats" (performed by Carrie Underwood), "Hey There Delilah" (Plain White Ts), "Like a Star" (Corinne Bailey Rae), "Rehab" (Amy Winehouse) and "Umbrella" (Rihanna). Record of the year nominations went to Beyonce's "Irreplaceable", the Foo Fighters' "The Pretender," Rihanna's "Umbrella," Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around Comes Around" and Winehouse's "Rehab." Akon, Fergie, the Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins, Vince Gill, Herbie Hancock, Jimmy Jam, Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda, George Lopez and Taylor Swift made the announcement. The 50th annual Grammy Awards are scheduled for Sunday, February 10.

NAOMI CAMPBELL MUGGED AT LED ZEPPELIN GIG
Naomi Campbell was mugged at last night’s Led Zeppelin gig in London’s O2 Arena, it has been reported. According to reports, Naomi, 33 had her Blackberry stolen - which contained the numbers of her A-List friends, including Nelson Mandella, Beyonce, Lewis Hamilton, Jay-Z and Kate Moss. A source says: “Naomi has a lot of phones, but it was annoying to lose this. She still managed to enjoy the concert and some of the after party.” Fox news has reported that just as the gig was ending, Naomi was spotted hanging around the VIP exit having an argument with a member of her security team. The fiery model was overheard saying: “Someone stole my handbag. It had two phones in it!” She made her complaint to security at the arena, and then exited through the VIP section while thousands upon thousands of music fans swarmed over her, reports London’s Metro newspaper.

Could Mathew and Tina Knowles be headed for a divorce? That's precisely what people close to the couple are saying. MediaTakeOut.com spoke exclusively to one of Tina Knowles' longtime pals who claims the couple is no longer living in the same home. Tina's friend claims that Beyonce' parents have recently taken up separate residences - with Tina living in Houston and Mathew in New York City. The insider explained to MediaTakeOut.com, "No one knows what's going on and everyone's afraid to ask. Tina and [Mathew] have a number of homes, but they've always spent most of their time together in Houston, but not anymore ... Mathew is spending all of his time in [their] New York condo and Tina's hired a new decorator and is redoing the entire [Houston] house." And the pal claims that on a recent trip to the American Music Awards, the couple weren't acting very couple-ly. The source tells MediaTakeOut.com, "They arrived on separate planes and Tina flew out that same night. They didn't sit near each other, they didn't spend the night together ... I don't think I saw them say two words to each other." But if Mathew and Tina do split, according to another longtime friend of the Knowles,' it could severely impact Beyonce's relationship with her mother. The pal told MediaTakeOut.com, "Last time Mathew and Tina split up, Beyonce was caught in the middle and was forced to take sides." The longtime insider continued, "She chose to stick by her father then. Beyonce was always daddy's little girl. If she were to be forced to choose again now, I bet she'd still choose her father." While the two eventually reconciled, MediaTakeOut.com has learned that the reason for Mathew and Tina's initial separation was explosive. In a lawsuit filed by one of Mathew Knowles former acts, Beyonce's father was accused of spending close to $32M on cocaine and prostitutes. While not explicitly admitting to that allegation, Mathew was quoted as saying the following: My wife Tina and I had some real problems with our marriage and I was having some affairs at the time. I went to a treatment facility in 1992 and they didn't have a real definition for my marital infidelities. But [I] did a little alcohol [and] drugs, so it was all lumped together as substance abuse related.... In 1998, when I was treated a second time, they had a more defined definition of sex addiction, but sex addiction has such a broad range. My treatment was regarding my continued extramarital affairs.
